Doesn't Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace already back up my data?+
They protect their infrastructure. They do not protect you from deletion, ransomware on a synced device, malicious admin, or retention policy misconfiguration. A third-party SaaS protection product covers that gap with point-in-time restore for individual items.
What's your RTO / RPO?+
Depends on the system. Critical servers: typically 1-hour RPO and 4-hour RTO with on-appliance virtualization. Less critical systems get less aggressive targets. We map this to your business reality in the DR plan, not from a SKU.
What does a real ransomware recovery look like?+
We isolate affected systems, identify the latest clean restore point from the immutable backup chain, virtualize the recovered system on the BCDR appliance to keep operations running, then rebuild production in parallel. Documented runbooks; we don’t make it up at 2am.
Are you locked to one vendor?+
No — and that’s the point. We pick the BCDR + SaaS Protection stack that matches your environment, retention requirements, and existing investments. If you already run a specific platform, we adapt rather than insist on a rip-and-replace.
