Co-Managed IT
Co-managed IT for teams that need a force multiplier, not a replacement.
Plenty of mid-market businesses have a real internal IT team — and shouldn't be looking for a full MSP takeover. Co-managed engagements augment your existing team with what's hardest to staff in-house: 24/7 Huntress SOC monitoring, after-hours help desk overflow, security tooling, and senior-level architecture review. Your IT manager keeps the wheel.

What we bring
Co-managed engagements give you the same tool stack we use for full MSP clients.
Frequently asked
Will you replace our internal team?+
No. Co-managed is explicitly the opposite — we augment your team. If a full MSP takeover ever makes sense, that's a separate conversation we have in the open.
Who owns escalation when something breaks?+
Your IT manager. We document an escalation matrix at engagement kickoff — what flows to us, what stays internal, who calls who. No surprises during an incident.
Can we keep our current vendors?+
Mostly yes. We may suggest swapping out specific tools where Huntress or a different BCDR platform demonstrably outperform what you run today, but it’s a recommendation, not a precondition. We work in most environments.
What size IT teams do co-managed engagements fit?+
Typically 1–4 internal IT staff at a 50–300 employee company. Larger than that and the engagement model usually shifts to specific services (security operations, vCISO). Smaller and a full managed engagement is often a better fit.
Do you co-manage IT in Lincoln and Omaha?+
Yes. Lincoln shops with a one-person IT lead are a short drive from Hickman. Omaha-metro teams (often 1–4 staff across downtown + West Omaha) get Huntress SOC and after-hours overflow without an Omaha office.
Lincoln & Omaha — how this actually shows up locally
Lincoln, NE
Lincoln, NE hubLincoln co-managed: force-multiply a one-person IT lead.
UNL-adjacent and downtown firms that already have someone on staff still need 24/7 Huntress and vacation coverage. We don’t replace that person.
Omaha, NE
Omaha, NE hubOmaha-metro IT teams that outgrew antivirus MSPs.
Insurance-adjacent and multi-site Omaha shops often keep internal IT and add SAINT for SOC + after-hours. Suburbs are coverage, not a second office.
