CJIS-aligned controls for municipal and public-safety environments.

The FBI CJIS Security Policy sets expectations for protecting Criminal Justice Information — authentication, encryption, auditing, media protection, and personnel controls among them. SAINT implements CJIS-aligned technical controls for small municipalities and departments. We do not claim CJIS certification authority.

Where this shows up.

Agencies and municipal departments that access CJI — police, courts, and certain admin workflows — including Lincoln-metro and Omaha-suburban cities.

Operational controls — not a paper stamp.

Identity and MFA, network segmentation, logging, endpoint security (Huntress or Guardz), access control, and documentation that survives audit conversations. Vertical: /industries/municipal-government/cjis and /industries/sled.

What we don’t claim: No “CJIS certified MSP” badge and no guaranteed audit pass.

CJIS Security Policy FAQ

Is SAINT CJIS certified?+
We implement CJIS-aligned controls. Blanket “CJIS certified” marketing is not how we operate.
Do you handle state WAN circuits?+
Typically we co-manage alongside state/WAN providers for what the city controls.
Related to SLED?+
Yes — start at /industries/sled for the public-sector hub, then CJIS for CJI-specific paths.
