Remote ops and network path for a Lincoln casework shop

Challenge

What was broken or missing.

Premium Woods runs design and production systems that cannot sit idle — Microvellum data on a shop server, CAD stations, and at least one remote worker. Break-fix alone left mapping and remote access fragile; they needed practical fixes and a light ongoing model, not an enterprise managed-IT contract sized for a different company.

Approach

What SAINT did.

1. 01Resolved production file-share / Microvellum mapping issues so design data stayed reachable across shop machines.
2. 02Stood up remote-worker access patterns (endpoint hardening, login messaging, BitLocker escrow where applicable) so off-site work did not become a second unsupported environment.
3. 03Proposed a light commercial model: network management, Guardz cyber seats, and help-desk time-and-materials — with a UniFi buildout quoted as project work when the closet needed it.

Outcome

What we can say publicly.

Documented rescue work on remote access and shop file shares, plus a written proposal path for ongoing cyber/network. Hardware buildout and recurring package acceptance are commercial facts — we do not mark them “complete” here without Colton confirmation.
