Failover & Backup Internet in Lincoln & Omaha

One circuit is a single point of failure. SAINT designs failover internet — primary plus backup connectivity, redundant paths, and SD-WAN failover — so Lincoln and Omaha offices stay online when the primary pipe drops. ALLO Business fiber (via SAINT) is often the primary; a second carrier circuit or cellular/LTE backup fills the gap when the design warrants it. We architect and operate the failover; carriers deliver the circuits. No invented SLAs or “always-up” guarantees.
Primary + backup circuits designed as one architecture
SD-WAN / dual-WAN failover on UniFi or Fortinet when scoped
Cellular / LTE backup where the site needs a wireless path

How failover sits in the SAINT stack

Carriers deliver circuits. SAINT designs the edge, failover policy, and day-two ops. ALLO is one primary option where available — never positioned as the MSP.

Frequently asked

What is failover internet?+
A designed primary circuit plus a backup path so traffic continues when the primary fails. SAINT designs and manages the failover architecture; carriers (ALLO or others) provide the connectivity.
Is this the same as backup or redundant internet?+
Yes — those search terms usually mean the same need: redundant internet / backup internet so one outage doesn’t kill the office. We use MSP language (failover architecture) instead of promising carrier SLAs.
Do you use ALLO for failover?+
ALLO Business fiber is often the primary pipe via SAINT as authorized agent. Backup may be a second circuit, another carrier, or cellular/LTE when scoped. We do not market ALLO managed IT or cybersecurity.
Do you guarantee uptime or publish SLAs?+
No. Failover reduces single-path risk; it does not create a mathematical uptime promise we can publish on this site. Quotes describe the design after we know the address and what must stay online.
Is failover internet available in Lincoln and Omaha?+
Yes — we design failover for Lincoln and Omaha-metro sites from Hickman. Primary fiber availability is address-specific; backup options depend on the building and carriers. Call 531-625-2111 or submit the consult form.

Lincoln & Omaha — how this actually shows up locally

  • Failover internet for Lincoln single-site offices.

Haymarket and south-Lincoln shops often have one fiber drop and no plan B. We design primary ALLO (where available) plus backup circuit or cellular failover, monitored from the same Hickman team — no Lincoln storefront.

  • Redundant internet for Omaha HQ + warehouse.

Aksarben / West Omaha plus Bellevue or Papillion sites need path diversity, not a copied closet. SD-WAN failover between sites is common; scheduled I-80 on-site, continuous remote ops.
