Access Control
Access control that knows who, when, and from where.
Most access control systems still treat badges as anonymous tokens. We deploy Verkada AC22 and AC42 controllers integrated with your identity system — so a door event is an identified user event, audit-ready, and visible in the same operational view as your endpoint and network signals.
What we design and operate
Door controllers
Verkada AC22 (2 doors) and AC42 (4 doors) cloud-managed controllers. PoE-powered, redundant offline modes, no on-prem server required.
Credentials
Mobile credentials via Verkada Pass (Bluetooth + NFC), traditional HID-compatible badge readers, PIN codes, and emergency override procedures.
Identity integration
Sync users from Entra ID or Google Identity. Onboarding and offboarding flows mean access ends when employment does — automatically.
Schedules + anti-passback
Time-based access policies, anti-passback at sensitive areas, lockdown procedures, and visitor management integration.
Audit + compliance
Every door event logged with user, time, location, and method. Reports support HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and SOC 2 physical-access requirements.
Cyber + physical correlation
Badge events feed into Huntress Managed SIEM alongside endpoint and identity signals. A 2am badge plus an unusual VPN login surface as one timeline.
Frequently asked
Do I need Verkada?
Verkada is our default — cloud-managed, NDAA-compliant, fast to install, no on-prem server. For legacy environments with existing card readers we'll integrate where possible. We won't push Verkada when a different product makes sense.
Can I keep my existing badges?
Often yes. Verkada controllers support HID-compatible readers, so existing badge formats often work without re-issuing credentials. We confirm during the site walkthrough.
What happens during an internet outage?
Verkada controllers operate in offline mode using locally-cached credentials. Doors keep working; events queue and sync when the link returns. No internet does not mean no access.
How does this integrate with cameras?
Verkada cameras tag a clip every time a paired door event fires — so you can pull up the badge swipe and the corresponding video in two clicks. Critical for incident review.
