Start at physical security assessments: entries, sightlines, lighting, existing cameras, who monitors, and what “response” means at 2 p.m. vs after hours. Schools and SLED buyers need that sequence especially — a wrong camera angle is not fixed by a software toggle.
Only then choose business security cameras and whether weapons-related analytics belong in scope. Privacy-aware placement matters for clinics and counseling suites; a waiting-room camera is not a treatment-room camera.
