Verkada, UniFi Protect, or Salient — which do you recommend?+
For most engagements under ~100 cameras that want cloud video security, Verkada cameras win — no NVR, fastest to deploy. UniFi Protect cameras fit when the LAN is already UniFi and local NVR recording is acceptable, including an AI LPR camera when a lane needs plates. For large or open-VMS estates, Salient CompleteView is the right call. The walkthrough determines which.
Do you handle remote viewing?+
Are your cameras NDAA-compliant?+
Yes. Verkada is NDAA Section 889 compliant. For Salient deployments we source NDAA-compliant cameras (Axis, Hanwha, etc.). Required for federal-adjacent work and increasingly demanded by enterprise procurement.
